Shelley TESTIMONIALS

Responses from recent writing workshop participants:

This workshop has changed my life. Everything is different now. I’ve learned that I have stories to tell, and I can write them and now I will. – Elise

After attending Shelley’s two-day workshop, I feel more confident and capable of sharing my unique stories with humanity. She has poured all of her wisdom, heart, and soul into every element of her teachings. Highly recommend to anyone looking for hope, courage, and fundamental tools to tell their unique and valuable stories. – Jennifer.

Shelley is so open and knowledgeable, willing, and fully capable of sharing her experience and secrets to all. It is truly worth attending if you are just starting to write or aren’t already(a published writer. You’ll get something out of the workshop, including meeting some friendly and like-minded individuals. – Carrie.

Wow, this workshop was incredible. I was so nervous coming in as a beginner, but you created such a safe place for me to find my voice. – P

Keturah TESTIMONIALS

Responses from recent pastel workshop participants:

I sensed a depth to Keturah through her calm energy, gentle spirit and devotion to her art….Within a short period of time, she created an atmosphere that helped me feel confident in my artistic abilities through her warmth, patience and encouraging approach. – H

Keturah showed us some of her own pastel work and guided us through experimenting with pressure, blending colours, observation, and creative expression. What stood out to me most was the complete lack of pressure or perfectionism. There was no expectation that everyone’s work needed to look the same or be “perfect.” Instead, it was about exploring, experimenting, and enjoying the sensory experience of using the pastels.

I found this incredibly calming. It allowed me to slow down and be fully present in the moment, focused only on creating. – Elizabeth

Paul Testimonials

Responses from recent massage clients:

Paul’s ability to create a safe space for you to fully surrender into total relaxation is profound. I have never been so beautifully held by anyone like this before. I felt so free in mind & body to allow myself to soak in every delicious moment 🙏🏽 – Sarah

Imagine if you will, a memory of pure joy leaving my body with each touch: holding memories, holding space, as a hand moves slowly under my neck, across an injury, an accident, a lesson learnt… Arms moving across my body, hands rolling over my soft belly—my once pregnant belly, the joy of growing a baby—each part of my body telling a different story… My sore hip dysplasia, my old worn out legs, my injured knees, a fall, a break, a trauma, 66 years of pain and suffering—but also, pure joy, heart-filled memories, love & peace, vulnerability—all my experiences reawakened through hands of kindness, cellular memories released … Feeling safe and protected in his arms, deeply relaxed, restored, renewed and enriched. Sincere gratitude and a warm heartfelt thank you. – Mary

James Testimonials

Responses from recent clients:

James is incredibly creative when he cooks, giving a level of care and attention that makes it much like an art form. Each dish is bursting with pockets of different flavours and colours, arranged in a way that’s perfectly balanced to delight your taste buds and nourish your belly. He has a grounded and holistic understanding of nutrition and the importance of eating whole foods, as well as an ability to cater to different (and sometimes unusual) dietary requirements, whilst keeping it delicious. His food shows his natural passion and joy for cooking and caring for others through proper tasty nourishment. ~ Katy B

The River Rock Retreat

“Write your self.
Your body must be heard.
Only then will the immense resources
of the unconscious spring forth …
We should try and write as
our dreams teach us; shamelessly, fearlessly,
and by facing what is inside every human being.”
Helene Cixous
